Alone, Together
Black Box theater, Helsinki Music Center
4pm (1 hour, no intermission)
The Earth Ears Ensemble is proud to return to Musica nova Helsinki to present Alone, Together, a transdisciplinary performance combining acoustic sound, electronics, and video. The Earth Ears Ensemble was formed in 2021 with the goal of enlivening contemporary music performance through experimentation and presentation of lesser-heard voices in new concert settings.
This program will feature the iconic chamber music work “Oh, I see” by Carola Bauckholt alongside a World Premiere by Norwegian composer Elias Schomers commissioned for the ensemble through the Northern Connection Contemporary Music Project.
