For the week of Monday August 12 through Sunday August 18, I will be participating in the SAAR Summer Academy for Artistic Research. This yearly summer research event is jointly hosted by Aalto University, University of the Arts Helsinki, Stockholm University of the Arts, University of Gothenburg, and the Norwegian Artistic Research Programme (DIKU).

During the week, selected researchers from participating universities meet to discuss current issues in artistic research as well as present their own doctoral projects. This years faculty supervisors include film and media professor Ellen Røed, choreographer Frank Bock, artist Denise Ziegler, artist/writer/curator Daniel Jewesburg, and artistic research pioneer Rolf Hughes.
